Every dollar we make in profit is donated to charities dedicated to rescuing and rehoming Greyhounds. Gear 4 Greys was established by the volunteers at Racing 2 Rehome Inc . (in Victoria, Australia) to raise much needed funds toward vet bills and care of their foster dogs. Racing 2 Rehome Inc is a non-profit charity and 100% of profit from this online store contributes towards the care of their Greyhounds in private foster homes, while waiting to find their Adoptive home. Racing 2 Rehome have taken in over 500 Greyhounds through their adoption program. Every purchase through our store has helped make that possible. We are pleased to say that the store has grown and we have now been able to donate and support other Greyhound charities. Delivery charges vary depending on the size and weight of your order and your chosen delivery address. ** FREE delivery within Australia on orders over $120 AUD. ** Some exclusions apply: As noted on all products in our Greyhound Beds and Covers Category regarding deliveries of these products to Queensland, Western Australia, Northern Territory. Unfortunately due to high freight costs we are unable to deliver these specific products to these locations at the moment. This is noted on each affected product page under "Important Shipping Information." For an accurate delivery quote: place the items you wish to order in your shopping cart, proceed to the checkout to receive your delivery cost. Your final shipping charges will be displayed in your checkout page before you proceed to payment so that you know exactly how much shipping will be. As with most delivery services, the couriers that will deliver your order do not have a standard or set time of the day that goods are delivered. Your order will usually be delivered on Weekdays only (Monday to Friday) and generally only during business hours 8am-6pm, unless the carriers choose to extend their hours for any reason. During your checkout process you can leave special delivery instructions in the comment box if you have any special requests. Please note: not all requests will be able to be accommodated, however we will attempt to ensure we provide the best service we can. ​ Do I need to be home to receive my delivery? If you are not home when the courier attempts to deliver your order they will typically leave a note or calling card. This calling card usually contains the details needed to contact the courier to arrange a suitable re-delivery date. The courier will attempt to deliver your order two times however if for any reason you do not contact them and/ or they are unable to contact you, the delivery may be returned to us. Metro orders are usually received within five working days and up to eight days for regional and remote areas. Many of our coats are locally hand sewn. ​ This policy has been established to give you the comfort of knowing that, subject to the conditions set out below, if any product you purchase from Gear 4 Greys Inc. is found to be defective, or it does not meet your needs, Gear 4 Greys Inc. will happily repair or replace the product, or offer you a refund. ​ This Policy provides you with benefits in addition to the rights you have at law, including under the Australian Consumer Law (see below), because your satisfaction is very important to us. ​ What is the Gear 4 Greys Inc. change of mind policy? If you bought the product online, and the product is defective or damaged in transit, please return the product within 14 days of receipt and (provided we agree that the product is damaged or defective as outlined below) we will refund your original delivery charge or cover the costs of delivering any replacement product to you. We will not, however, refund delivery charges if the product is returned simply because you have changed your mind or the product is unwanted. ​ Faulty or defective products If you receive a faulty product from us (including, if a product is defective or damaged in transit on delivery to you) return it to us within 14 days of receipt and we will inspect the product and if we agree that the product is faulty and the fault is unlikely to have occurred through abnormal use, we will, with your agreement, replace the product with an identical product. FAQ's Does Gear4Greys have a physical shop that I can visit? Gear4Greys is an online store only. As a not-for-profit we are run by volunteers and do not have a shopfront. This enables us to keep our running costs down, offer great prices to our customers, and of course give more support to Foster Hounds! How do I measure my Hound for a Harness? Measure around your Hounds girth at the widest part of the chest, behind the front legs. It is often easiest to measure your Hound with a piece of string, then measure the string with a ruler or tape measure. Medium : 61cm-70cm (24"-28") Large : 71cm-80cm (28"-35") Extra Large: 81cm-91cm (32"-36") If your Hound is in between sizes, please select the next size up. How do I measure my Hound for a Coat? Please measure your Hounds Length and Chest. *Length is the distance from the base of the neck to the start of the tail. *Chest is the measurement all the way around the widest part of the chest, behind the front legs. Each coat category has the applicable size ranges in the description for that design. * Handy tip: it is often easiest to use a piece of string to measure your Hound, then measure the string with a tape measure or ruler. Always measure your Hound in a standing position. Our coats are sized according to size, not weight, as we find this results in a much better fit. After measuring if you are still not sure which size you need please contact us so we can assist. 🙂 What payment options does Gear4Greys offer? We accept payment by Credit Card, Offline direct funds transfer, and PayPal. PayPal also offer a "pay in 4" instalment buy now pay later option at our checkout to their approved customers at their discretion (spending between AUD $30- AUD $1500.) We also offer Lay-buy if you see something you love and it's not within your budget right now, and you don't need it straight away.. How do I get a pull-on Coat onto my Hound?🤔 (e.g. Second Skins & Funkys) Our greyt supporters from S.A., Glenn and his hound Tammy, have volunteered their time to make this terrific video to demonstrate how to get a pull-on coat on (and off!) Best make sure your volume is on, as there's lots of helpful hints along the way 😊 For anyone unable to view a video on their device, here's a brief summary below. Put your Hounds head through the neck hole first, then gently put each front leg into the arm-holes one at a time. Once this is done position the coat correctly on your Hounds body for a comfortable fit. To take the coat off, start at the rear end and gently peel the coat back and over the head, then gently remove one leg at a time. If you have not used pull-on Coats before, don't worry, your Hound will soon get used to this process and enjoy the comfort of a fitted coat, whether walking or sleeping. If they're a little reluctant at first, treats often help too!
